Distance makes the heart grow fonder

#THESRIKRISHNASTORY

We are here to break the myth that long-distance relationships don’t work, especially when we have the privilege of shooting couples like SriVidhya and Krishna. They turned their long-distance relationship into a success story and their awe-inspiring wedding pictures will give you some serious couple goals. Their love story spans over 12 years and through their courtship period, they have seen all kinds of technological advancements. “From Yahoo to Google chats, Facebook to WhatsApp, we have seen it all,” Vidhya recalls with a smile.
In 2006 the couple was introduced to each other by a common friend and the more they spoke with each other, the more they fell for each other. In December of that year, Krishna asked her to be his girlfriend and the rest was history.
Krishna popped the big question on their 12th anniversary in the world-famous Marina Bay Sands. He flew down to be with Vidhya on their special day, on their 12th year anniversary and the couple celebrated with a romantic date and a stroll against the Singapore skyline. Krishna had given his phone to a tourist couple nearby to take a picture of the two of them, but little did Vidhya know, the couple was a part of their plan. They filmed the moment he got down on his knee and asked Vidhya to be his forever.
While Krishna comes from a Telugu family, Vidhya belongs to a Tamil family. She has always loved the traditions of a Telugu wedding and started visualising her wedding when she realised she had found ‘the one.’ When Krishna proposed, it took a lot of hard work and effort to make this wedding a reality.
She was involved in every detail of her wedding planning and flew from Singapore to Chennai frequently for important events and wedding errands. All her hard work paid off in the end with her getting a dream wedding. The traditional wedding quickly transitioned into a full-blown party of a reception! The couple had a picture-perfect entry with the groom arriving in an auto and the bride in a palki.
A lot of planning, detailing and hard work took place to make the wedding perfect. Vidhya travelled to and fro from Singapore to Chennai for all her wedding errands and other important things. The wedding ceremony in Chennai was perfect for them and she is on cloud nine for she successfully got a dream wedding.
The couple is looking forward to a honeymoon in Srilanka and the Maldives. Srividhya says that she is happy to have found a nice and kind partner like Krishna and that she is waiting to see what marital bliss has in store for her. We wish them all the happiness in the world and a very happy married life.
